  6. Mix the yolks with gelatin, chocolate, and cottage cheese. Mix everything quickly.
  7. Using a mixer, beat the cream, and gradually add the powdered sugar.
  8. Carefully add the cream to the curd. Mix carefully.
  9. We cover a deep bowl or form with cling film, transfer the mass, level it, and put it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Better for 8–9.
  10. When the cake has hardened, carefully invert the form onto a plate and remove the film.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix eggs, yolks, lemon zest, dried fruits, candied fruits, and nuts. Add a teaspoon of flour and stir.
  4. Combine milk and egg mixture. Sift half the flour here, salt a little, add vanilla, and mix again.
  5. Adding flour in small portions, knead the dough. It should be soft and not sticky.
  6. Grease a saucepan or deep dish with oil, place the dough in it, cover with a towel, and leave for 2 hours.
  7. We cover the baking dishes with parchment, and grease with oil. We shift the dough into molds, filling them 1/3. Lubricate the top with oil and leave it on the table for another half hour.
  8. We bake the cake in the oven at a temperature of 180 ° C. The baking time depends on the size of the molds. You can also use the slow cooker for baking.

We take out the finished Italian Easter from the mold, cool it on the table, and decorate it with fudge or icing.

  3. Cover with cling film and leave on the table for 8-12 hours (you can overnight).
  4. In the morning, add salt, vanilla, dried fruits, and rum to the approached dough.
  5. Sift the flour on top, gradually kneading a viscous sticky dough – it should be thicker than sour cream.
  6. Cover with foil and leave on the table for another 2 hours.
  7. We spread the dough in forms covered with parchment and greased with oil. We fill the volume by 1/3. Let it rise on the table.
  8. Then baked at 180°C. The time to readiness depends on the size of your molds.
    If you like to bake in a bread machine or slow cooker, you can cook Alexandrian Easter cake in them.

Of course, you can buy ready-made icing in the supermarket, but it is much better to make it yourself. Especially since there are so many options! Easter cakes can be decorated with melted white or milk chocolate.
